പാലക്കാട് എം.എൽ.എ രാഹുൽ മാങ്കൂട്ടത്തിനെതിരെ രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്ത രണ്ടാമത്തെ ബലാത്സംഗ കേസിൽ മൂന്നിയിട്ടിരുന്ന മുൻകൂർ ജാമ്യഹർജി തിരുവനന്തപുരം പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ ജില്ലാ സെഷൻസ് കോടതി അനുവദിച്ചു.
ഇതോടെ എം.എൽ.എക്ക് അറസ്റ്റ് ഭീഷണി ഒഴിവാവുകയും 13 ദിവസമായി തുടരുന്ന ഒളിവ് ജീവിതം അവസാനിക്കുമെന്ന പ്രതീക്ഷയും ഉയരുകയാണ്.
നിബന്ധനകളോടെയാണു കോടതി ജാമ്യം അനുവദിച്ചത്. എല്ലാ തിങ്കളാഴ്ചയും അന്വേഷണം സംഘത്തിന് മുമ്പിൽ ഹാജരാകണം, സാക്ഷികളെ സ്വാധീനിക്കരുത് തുടങ്ങിയ വ്യവസ്ഥകളാണ് കോടതി വിധിയിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്.

ബെംഗളൂരുവിലെ 23 കാരിയാണ് രണ്ടാമത്തെ കേസിൽ രാഹുൽ മാങ്കൂട്ടത്തിനെതിരെ പരാതി നൽകിയത്. വിവാഹവാഗ്ദാനം നൽകി ഔട്ട്ഹൗസിൽ എത്തിച്ച് പീഡനത്തിന് ഇരയാക്കിയതാണു പരാതിയുടെ ഉള്ളടക്കം.
യുവതി ആദ്യം കെപിസിസി അധ്യക്ഷനോട് പരാതി അറിയിക്കുകയും പിന്നീട് അത് പോലീസിന് കൈമാറുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നു.
പരാതിക്കാരിയുടെ മൊഴിയും മറ്റുതെളിവുകളും പ്രോസിക്യൂഷൻ കോടതിയിൽ ഹാജരാക്കിയെങ്കിലും, അടച്ചിട്ട മുറിയിൽ നടന്ന വാദങ്ങൾക്കു ശേഷം കോടതി രാഹുലിന് മുൻകൂർ ജാമ്യം അനുവദിച്ചു.
