കോട്ടയം: കോട്ടയം മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജ് ആശുപത്രിക്ക് മുന്നിൽ ആംബുലൻസ് ഡ്രൈവർമാരും ബൈക്ക് യാത്രക്കാരും തമ്മിൽ സംഘർഷമുണ്ടായി.
ഇന്നലെ രാത്രി നടന്ന സംഭവത്തിൽ ബൈക്ക് ഓവർടേക്ക് ചെയ്തതിനെ തുടർന്നുണ്ടായ തർക്കം കൂട്ടത്തല്ലിൽ കലാശിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.
ആക്രമണത്തിൽ പരിക്കേറ്റ ബൈക്ക് യാത്രികരായ അയമ്നം സ്വദേശികളായ രണ്ട് പേരെ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു. സംഭവവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് മൂന്ന് ആംബുലൻസ് ഡ്രൈവർമാരെ ഗാന്ധിനഗർ പൊലീസ് കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്തിട്ടുണ്ട്.
ഇവർക്കെതിരെ കേസ് രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്യാനുള്ള നടപടികളിലാണ് പൊലീസ്.
ബൈക്ക് ഓവർടേക്ക് ചെയ്തതുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട തർക്കത്തിനിടയിലേക്ക് ആംബുലൻസ് ഡ്രൈവർമാരുടെ മൂന്നംഗ സംഘം ഇടപെട്ടതോടെയാണ് സംഭവം കൂടുതൽ വഷളായതെന്നും തുടർന്ന് കയ്യാങ്കളിയിലേക്കെത്തിയതെന്നും പൊലീസ് പറയുന്നു.
