സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് തിങ്കളാഴ്ച വരെ ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ട മഴയ്ക്ക് സാധ്യത തുടരുന്നതിനാൽ നാളെ അഞ്ച് ജില്ലകളിൽ യെല്ലോ അലർട്ട് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു.

മഴയ്ക്ക് പിന്നിലെ കാരണങ്ങൾ:

ഇന്ത്യൻ മഹാസമുദ്രത്തിലും ബംഗാൾ ഉൾക്കടലിലും രൂപപ്പെട്ട ന്യൂനമർദ്ദവും, തെക്കൻ തമിഴ്‌നാട് മുതൽ ലക്ഷദ്വീപ് വരെ നീളുന്ന ന്യൂനമർദ്ദ പാത്തിയുമാണ് മഴയ്ക്ക് അനുകൂല സാഹചര്യമൊരുക്കുന്നത്. തെക്കൻ കേരളത്തിലാണ് കൂടുതൽ മഴയ്ക്ക് സാധ്യത കൽപ്പിക്കുന്നത്.
