തിരുവനന്തപുരം: തലസ്ഥാനത്തെ തെരുവുനായ ശല്യത്തിന് പരിഹാരം കാണാനായി കോർപറേഷന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ പൈലറ്റ് പദ്ധതിക്ക് തുടക്കം കുറിച്ചതായി മേയർ വി.വി. രാജേഷ് അറിയിച്ചു.
പദ്ധതിയുടെ പ്രാരംഭ ഘട്ടമായി കോർപറേഷൻ അതിർത്തിയിലെ വിവിധ മേഖലകളിൽ നിന്ന് 50 തെരുവുനായകളെ പിടികൂടി വന്ധ്യംകരിച്ചതായും മേയർ വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
ഇവയ്ക്ക് പേവിഷ പ്രതിരോധ വാക്സിൻ ഉൾപ്പെടെ ആവശ്യമായ കുത്തിവെപ്പുകൾ നൽകി ശാസ്ത്രീയ പരിചരണം ഉറപ്പാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും അറിയിച്ചു.
സ്വകാര്യ വ്യക്തികളുമായും വിവിധ സംഘടനകളുമായും ചർച്ച നടത്തി വരും ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ പദ്ധതിയുടെ തുടർച്ചയും വ്യാപനവും ഉറപ്പാക്കുമെന്നും മേയർ കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു.
