കൊച്ചി: ‘ഓപ്പറേഷൻ സുഭാഷ്’ വിജയമായി. ഒരാഴ്ചയായി മെട്രോ പില്ലറിൽ കുടുങ്ങിക്കിടന്ന പൂച്ചയെ ഫയർഫോഴ്സും അനിമൽ റസ്ക്യു സംഘവും ചേർന്ന് നടത്തിയ രാത്രികാല രക്ഷാപ്രവർത്തനത്തിലൂടെ സുരക്ഷിതമായി താഴെയിറക്കി.
മെട്രോ സർവീസ് അവസാനിച്ചതിന് ശേഷം വൈദ്യുതി ലൈൻ ഓഫ് ചെയ്താണ് രക്ഷാപ്രവർത്തനം നടത്തിയത്.
പിന്നീട് പൂച്ചയെ അനിമൽ റസ്ക്യു ആംബുലൻസിൽ തോപ്പുംപടിയിലെ മൃഗാശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി.

385-ാം പില്ലറിന് സമീപം ആദ്യം നടത്തിയ പരിശോധനയിൽ പൂച്ചയെ കണ്ടെത്താൻ സാധിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല.
എന്നാൽ പില്ലറിന് മുകളിലെ ഒരു മൂലയിൽ അവശനിലയിൽ കിടക്കുന്ന പൂച്ചയുടെ ദൃശ്യങ്ങൾ പുറത്തുവന്നതോടെ രക്ഷാപ്രവർത്തനം ഉടൻ നടത്തണമെന്ന ആവശ്യം ശക്തമായി.
തുടർന്ന് Kochi Metro Rail Limited അധികൃതരുടെ സഹകരണത്തോടെയാണ് ദൗത്യം പൂർത്തിയാക്കിയത്.
