സിറോ മലബാർ സഭയ്ക്ക് പാത്രിയാർക്കൽ പദവി നൽകാൻ വത്തിക്കാൻ
കൊച്ചി: സിറോ മലബാർ സഭയ്ക്ക് പാത്രിയാർക്കൽ പദവി നൽകുന്നതിനുള്ള നടപടികൾ വത്തിക്കാനിൽ പുരോഗമിക്കുകയാണ്.
നിലവിലെ മേജർ ആർച്ച് ബിഷപ്പ് മാർ റാഫേൽ തട്ടിലിനെ പാത്രിയാർക്കീസ് പദവിയിലേക്ക് ഉയർത്താൻ സാധ്യതയുണ്ട്.
ഇതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി മേജർ ആർച്ച് ബിഷപ്പിനെയും സിനഡ് സെക്രട്ടറിയെയും മാർപാപ്പ ഔദ്യോഗിക കൂടിക്കാഴ്ചയ്ക്ക് വത്തിക്കാനിലേക്ക് ക്ഷണിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
ഡിസംബർ 15-ന് മാർ റാഫേൽ തട്ടിലും സിനഡ് സെക്രട്ടറി മാർ ജോസഫ് പാംപ്ലാനിയും ഫ്രാൻസിസ് മാർപാപ്പയുമായാണ് (വാർത്തയിൽ ലിയോ പതിനാലാമൻ എന്ന് തെറ്റായി റിപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്തിരുന്നു) കൂടിക്കാഴ്ച നടത്തുന്നത്.
ഈ കൂടിക്കാഴ്ചയ്ക്ക് ശേഷമായിരിക്കും പാത്രിയാർക്കൽ പദവി സംബന്ധിച്ച ഔദ്യോഗിക പ്രഖ്യാപനം ഉണ്ടാകുക.
പാത്രിയാർക്കൽ പദവി ലഭിക്കുന്നതോടെ സിറോ മലബാർ സഭയ്ക്ക് കൂടുതൽ സ്വയംഭരണാധികാരവും ആത്മീയ മേന്മയുമുണ്ടാകും.
നിലവിൽ കോട്ടയം, ചങ്ങനാശേരി, എറണാകുളം–അങ്കമാലി, തലശ്ശേരി അതിരൂപതകളിലെ നാല് ആർച്ച് ബിഷപ്പുമാർക്കുമുകളിൽ മാർ റാഫേൽ തട്ടിലിന് ഭരണനിർവഹണ അധികാരമാണ് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത്.
പാത്രിയാർക്കീസ് പദവിയിലേക്ക് ഉയരുന്നത് സഭയുടെ ആകെ പദവിയും ആത്മീയ–ഭരണപരമായ നിലയും ഉയർത്തുന്നതിന് തുല്യമാണ്.
