വീട്ടുമുറ്റത്തിലെ ആൾമറയില്ലാത്ത കിണറ്റിൽ വീണ മൂന്നുവയസുകാരനായ ആയുഷിനെ രക്ഷിക്കാനാണ് വിഷ്ണു കിണറ്റിലേക്ക് ചാടിയത്. മകൻ കിണറ്റിൽ വീണത് കണ്ട ഉടൻ തന്നെ വിഷ്ണുവും പിന്നാലെ ചാടുകയായിരുന്നു.
എന്നാൽ കിണറ്റിനുള്ളിൽ വെച്ച് ശ്വാസം കിട്ടാതെ വിഷ്ണു അവശനായി കുടുങ്ങി. തുടർന്ന് വിവരം അറിഞ്ഞ് Kerala Fire and Rescue Services ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർ സ്ഥലത്തെത്തി വിഷ്ണുവിനെ പുറത്തെടുത്തെങ്കിലും ജീവൻ രക്ഷിക്കാനായില്ല.
അതേസമയം, നാട്ടുകാരിൽ ഒരാൾ ചേർന്ന് കുട്ടിയായ ആയുഷിനെ രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തി. തുടർന്ന് കുട്ടിയെ Government Medical College Hospital Thrissur ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി.

A 30-year-old man, Vishnu, died after jumping into a well to rescue his three-year-old son in Wadakkanchery. The incident occurred at his house yard where the child accidentally fell into an uncovered well.
Seeing his son fall into the well, Vishnu immediately jumped in to save him. However, he got trapped inside and struggled to breathe. Personnel from Kerala Fire and Rescue Services reached the spot and pulled him out, but his life could not be saved.
Meanwhile, a local resident managed to rescue the child and he was shifted to Government Medical College Hospital Thrissur for treatment. Vishnu’s funeral will be held today. He is survived by his wife Sunitha.
