എസ്.ഐ.ടി ഓഫീസിലെത്തി മൊഴി നൽകിയ ഇരുവരും ഉണ്ണികൃഷ്ണൻ പോറ്റിയെ പരിചയമുള്ളവരാണെന്നും മൊഴിയിൽ വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടതിനെ അടിസ്ഥാനപ്പെടുത്തിയാണ് സ്വർണപ്പാളി സംബന്ധിച്ച അനുമതികൾ നൽകിയതെന്നും ഇവർ പറഞ്ഞു.
എന്നാൽ ചെന്നൈയിലേക്കുള്ള യാത്രയിൽ ദൈവഹിതമില്ലായിരുന്നുവെന്ന തന്ത്രിമാരുടെ മൊഴി കേസ് കൂടുതൽ ഗുരുതരമാക്കുന്നു.

ഡിസംബർ 3ന് കോടതി വിധി പറയും. കട്ടിളപ്പാളിയിലെ സ്വർണം കവർച്ചയിൽ വാസുവിന് പങ്കില്ലെന്നത് പ്രതിഭാഗത്തിന്റെ വാദമാണ്.
എസ്.ഐ.ടി റിപ്പോർട്ട് കോടതിയിൽ സമർപ്പിച്ചെങ്കിലും പ്രോസിക്യൂഷൻ ജാമ്യം ലഭിച്ചാൽ തെളിവ് നശിപ്പിക്കാനുള്ള സാധ്യത ഉയർത്തിപ്പറഞ്ഞു.
എന്നാൽ തെളിവുകൾ മുഴുവൻ എസ്.ഐ.ടി കസ്റ്റഡിയിലുള്ളതിനാൽ അതിന് സാധ്യതയില്ലെന്ന് വാദിച്ചു.
