കേരളത്തിലെ ഹൈസ്കൂളുകളിൽ റോബോട്ടിക് വിപ്ലവം; 2500 അഡ്വാൻസ്ഡ് കിറ്റുകൾ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളിലേക്ക്
തിരുവനന്തപുരം: സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ പൊതുവിദ്യാലയങ്ങളിൽ റോബോട്ടിക്സ് പഠനം കൂടുതൽ ആധുനികമാക്കുന്നതിനായി കൈറ്റ് (KITE) മുഖേന ഹൈസ്കൂളുകളിലേക്ക് അഡ്വാൻസ്ഡ് റോബോട്ടിക് കിറ്റുകൾ വിതരണം ചെയ്യുന്നു.
പദ്ധതിയുടെ സംസ്ഥാനതല ഉദ്ഘാടനം തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് നടന്നു. ആറ് സ്കൂളുകളിലെ ലിറ്റിൽ കൈറ്റ്സ് അംഗങ്ങൾക്ക് കിറ്റുകൾ കൈമാറിയതോടെയാണ് പദ്ധതിക്ക് തുടക്കമായത്.
വിദ്യാലയങ്ങളിലെ ലിറ്റിൽ കൈറ്റ്സ് യൂണിറ്റുകൾ വഴി സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ആകെ 2500 അഡ്വാൻസ്ഡ് റോബോട്ടിക് കിറ്റുകളാണ് വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളിലേക്ക് എത്തിക്കുന്നതെന്ന് വിദ്യാഭ്യാസമന്ത്രി വി. ശിവൻകുട്ടി അറിയിച്ചു.
ഈ അധ്യയനവർഷം മുതൽ പത്താം ക്ലാസ് ഐ.സി.ടി പാഠ്യപദ്ധതിയിൽ റോബോട്ടിക്സ് ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയതോടെ നാല് ലക്ഷത്തിലധികം വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് ഇതിന്റെ പ്രയോജനം നേരിട്ട് ലഭിക്കുന്നുണ്ടെന്നും മന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.
ഇതിന്റെ തുടർച്ചയായാണ് ഐ.ഒ.ടി (Internet of Things) അധിഷ്ഠിത ഉപകരണങ്ങൾ നിർമ്മിക്കാൻ കുട്ടികളെ പ്രാപ്തരാക്കുന്ന പുതിയ കിറ്റുകൾ വിതരണം ചെയ്യുന്നത്.
വൈഫൈ, ബ്ലൂടൂത്ത് സംവിധാനങ്ങളുള്ള ഡെവലപ്മെന്റ് ബോർഡുകൾ, വിവിധയിനം സെൻസറുകൾ തുടങ്ങിയവ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയ ഈ കിറ്റ് ഉപയോഗിച്ച് സ്മാർട്ട് വെതർ സ്റ്റേഷൻ, സുരക്ഷാ സംവിധാനങ്ങൾ ഉൾപ്പെടെ നിരവധി സങ്കീർണ്ണ പ്രോജക്റ്റുകൾ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് സ്വയം നിർമ്മിക്കാൻ കഴിയും.
സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ മുഴുവൻ സ്കൂളുകൾക്കുമുള്ള കിറ്റുകൾ ഫെബ്രുവരി 7, 8 തീയതികളിൽ നടക്കുന്ന ലിറ്റിൽ കൈറ്റ്സ് ജില്ലാ ക്യാമ്പുകളിൽ വിതരണം ചെയ്യുമെന്ന് അധികൃതർ അറിയിച്ചു.
സാങ്കേതികവിദ്യയുടെ ലോകത്ത് കുട്ടികളെ മുൻനിരയിലെത്തിക്കുക എന്നതാണ് സർക്കാരിന്റെ ലക്ഷ്യമെന്ന് മന്ത്രി വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
